Christchurch Orthodontics Limited
About
I have enough information to write the bio now. --- Christchurch Orthodontics Limited is a specialist orthodontic practice established in 1979 at 67 Stour Road in Christchurch, Dorset, situated between Bournemouth and the New Forest. The practice accepts both NHS and private patients: NHS treatment is available to under-18s assessed at IOTN grade 4 or above, while private treatment is open to all ages without a clinical threshold. The practice is led by David Tehrani (GDC 77093), who graduated from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm in 1999 and completed a postgraduate orthodontic programme at Malmö University, Sweden, before receiving his MSc in Orthodontics from the Karolinska Institute in 2003. He joined the practice in 2007, holds GDC Specialist List registration in Orthodontics, and has been involved in teaching clinical orthodontics at Malmö University. Treatment options include fixed metal braces, Clarity™ ceramic brackets (3M Unitek), Incognito® lingual appliances bonded to the inner tooth surface, Invisalign® and Invisalign® Teen clear aligners with 3D computer-generated treatment planning, removable braces, Twin Block functional appliances for jaw positioning, and Quad Helix arch expansion devices. The practice also manages impacted and missing teeth cases, coordinating with restorative dentistry where required. NHS patients are subject to waiting lists following assessment; private patients have access to interest-free payment plans.
