Talbot Dental Clinic

Talbot Dental Clinic is a community and special care dental service run by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It operates from Talbot School on Lees Hall Road in Sheffield, S8 9JP, in a newly renovated building housing ten dental surgeries. The clinic provides a full range of dental treatment with a particular focus on special care patients, including people with complex medical conditions and disabilities who may find it difficult to receive care in a standard high street practice. Its staff also support community paediatric dentistry across Sheffield and run in-reach clinics for patients whose needs are more involved. The surgeries are fitted with digital DPT imaging and fully computerised clinical and administrative systems. Practical access has been considered throughout, with car parking at the front of the building and dedicated disabled access and parking. As an NHS service within the trust, Talbot Dental Clinic concentrates on patients referred for special care and community dental treatment rather than routine private registrations.
