Formerly the Cottage Dental Practice, this Lydd surgery now trades as part of Oradent, a family dental group operating across the UK since 2012. It stands on Church Road in Lydd, Romney Marsh, and draws patients from the surrounding coastal villages of Littlestone, St Mary's Bay, Dymchurch, Rye and Hythe. Describing itself as a friendly family dental practice, it keeps services under one roof and offers same-day emergency appointments, opening Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Dr Hamid Mehdi is among the dentists here. Treatments span routine fillings, extractions, root canals and gum care through to Invisalign, teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers, crowns, bridges and dentures, with NHS options available. Care can be funded through several plans, including an NHS membership at £191.60 a year, the monthly Oradent Plan at £16.20, or a private plan at £228 annually, and the practice uses modern inspection and diagnostic tools.
