Affinity Dental Clinic

Established in 1962, Affinity Dental Clinic has worked from the same Basildon address for more than five decades and now sees around 10,000 patients each year. Found at Suite 1E, Southgate House, 88 Town Centre, it opens Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with occasional Saturdays reserved for private care. The practice sums up its aim as 'giving you something to smile about', building what it calls a relaxed, friendly and professional relationship founded on good communication, mutual trust and respect. Principal dentist Alex Manuelsson works alongside associates Morad Shafy, Naina Hasan and Gurveen Kalsi, plus hygienists and therapists Jennifer Mathew, Vivian Zampieri and Alin Botez. Both NHS and private patients are treated. Alongside routine care, the team provides dental implants including full-arch cases, clear aligners, teeth whitening and cosmetic dentistry. Same-day ceramic veneers, crowns and bridges are produced in-house using CEREC Omnicam scanning and MCXL milling, removing the wait for a separate laboratory stage.
