Grimsargh Smile Clinic has treated patients from 216 Preston Road in Grimsargh since June 2006, summing up its outlook simply: it likes to treat people as it would expect to be treated. The clinic is owned by Dr Arfan Iqbal, who has practised since 2001, holds dental phobia certification and teaches implant dentistry to other dentists. Implants are a particular focus, including Teeth in a Day for replacing several teeth at once, and the clinic is certified by the Association of Dental Implantology. Other treatments include Invisalign, teeth whitening, veneers, smile makeovers, general and emergency dentistry, and Cerezen for jaw joint and TMJ problems. Preventive care and patient education are emphasised, along with ongoing professional development. New patient registration, which includes an examination, is 95 pounds, while an emergency booking fee is 75 pounds, and monthly instalments can be arranged for longer courses of treatment. The practice opens Monday to Friday, with a later finish at 6:30pm on Wednesdays, and is closed at weekends.
