Leys Road Dental Practice is found at 6 Leys Road in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP3 9LX, and is run by two principal dentists with strong hospital backgrounds. Dr Shilan Shah (GDC 177655) holds a BDS with a diploma in restorative dentistry, trained at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Hospital and is completing a Master's in restorative and aesthetic dentistry at Warwick University. Dr Meera Unarket (GDC 176456) qualified BDS at Cardiff University in 2009 and previously worked as a Senior House Officer in paediatric dental care and oral surgery at King's College London. Between them they offer cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics including Invisalign, Inman aligners and six-month smile braces, teeth whitening, root canal treatment and oral surgery, with particular care taken over anxious and phobic patients. The practice, part of the DNTL Group, emphasises building lasting relationships and equips its rooms with iPads and televisions for comfort. Opening hours run Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm, with later Tuesday and Wednesday sessions until 7pm to suit those working during the day.
