Only Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic practice on Alumhurst Road in the Westbourne area of Bournemouth, close to the Poole border, established in 1990 and described on its own website as the longest-standing specialist orthodontic practice in Bournemouth. The practice focuses exclusively on orthodontic treatment for both children and adults. Principal Orthodontist Dr Besher Aswad joined the practice in 2001 and has held the principal role since 2018. The clinical team holds Master's degrees in clinical orthodontics alongside diplomas and memberships from the Royal College of Surgeons, and orthodontists are registered on the GDC specialist list. Orthodontic therapists work under orthodontist supervision. Treatments include Invisalign clear aligners — with Invisalign Virtual Care available for remote monitoring — ceramic and porcelain fixed braces, discreet fixed braces, and retainers. NHS orthodontic treatment is available for eligible patients under 18; adult treatment is offered on a private basis. The practice is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA no. 995804). On-site patient parking is available.
