Sandon Dental Practice

Sandon Dental Practice has looked after Bearwood and Smethwick since 1953, giving it more than seventy years of continuous presence at 80 Sandon Road. The surgery occupies a Georgian building that has been renovated internally to house four treatment rooms and dedicated decontamination suites. It offers both NHS and private care, summed up in its own words as dental health being the priority and treatment designed around the patient. Everyday check-ups sit alongside root canal treatment, dental implants, tooth whitening, children's dentistry and emergency appointments, supported by digital x-ray imaging. The practice also serves as a training centre for Foundation dentists starting their careers, and all its dentists are GDC registered. Membership of the British Dental Association reflects its adherence to recognised quality standards. Having served several generations of local families, Sandon is currently accepting new patients across its NHS and private lists. The long history and the mentoring role together mark it out as an established fixture in the Bearwood community rather than a recent arrival.
