Established in 2007 at Old Eldon Square, The Cosmetic Dental Clinic bills itself as the North East's home of sensational smiles. It was founded by clinical directors Dr Darren Cannell and Dr Andy Stafford, who met at dental school in Newcastle in 1996 and trained in advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry in the United States before returning home. From its base at 2 Old Eldon Square, with a second site in Durham, the clinic has built a strong reputation in cosmetic work: it holds Invisalign Diamond Apex status, placing it among the top one per cent of European providers, and is home to the UK's first Invisalign Zone. CEREC technology allows same-day restorations produced in an on-site digital studio, and services extend to veneers, composite bonding, whitening, implants, same-day teeth and general dentistry.
