The Dental Hygiene Studio Ltd

The Dental Hygiene Studio in Wallasey is an unusual proposition, described as the North West's first exclusive dental hygiene practice owned and run by a hygienist. It opened in 2019 at 95 Belvidere Road, CH45 4RX, and puts patient experience at the centre of its service. Owner and lead hygienist Jules Fisher (GDC 5156) leads a team that includes hygienists Camilla Howley (GDC 4010) and Olivia Nath (GDC 278521), plus dental therapists April Hamilton (GDC 140282), Elizabeth Foxcroft and Heidi Slater. Because of a change in the law, patients can book directly without a dentist's check-up and may stay registered with their own dentist elsewhere. Services include scale and polish, Airflow Guided Biofilm Therapy, implant and orthodontic cleaning, gum disease treatment, care for nervous patients and tray-based teeth whitening. The ground-floor surgery is accessible, with staff help available at the single front step. The studio was named a finalist in three categories at the Dentistry Awards 2025, for Team of the Year, Hygienist of the Year and Treatment of Nervous Patients.
