The Dental Hygiene Suite in Truro is a direct-access hygiene clinic, meaning patients can book without a referral from a dentist, and it is now marking ten years at 14 Frances Street in the city centre. Appointments are built around individual needs, whether that is a routine clean, help with bleeding gums, or reassurance for someone nervous about seeing a hygienist. A Classic Scale and Polish is priced at £90, while an Ultraclean using EMS Airflow costs £110, and new patients receive £10 off their first scale and polish. Beyond cleaning, the clinic treats gum disease, offers teeth whitening and facial aesthetics, and provides cleaning for patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. Children are seen from the age of five. The suite has been recognised for Best Patient Care in the South West at The Dentistry Awards and named Champion of Prevention at the Oral Health Awards. Opening hours extend to 7pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with Saturday morning appointments until 1pm.
