Whickham Dental Practice

For more than fifty years Whickham Dental Practice has operated from the same site at 26 Front Street in Whickham, Newcastle upon Tyne, describing itself as the home of calm and gentle dentistry. This independent, award winning practice fields six dentists and three hygienists among a team of fourteen, treating families across every generation and paying particular attention to nervous patients. Its clinicians hold special interests in dental implants, cosmetic bonding and Invisalign straightening, alongside general, cosmetic and children's dentistry, teeth whitening and tooth bonding. Professional affiliations displayed by the practice include SAAD, the British Dental Association, the FGDP, the ADI and the BSDH. The surgery opens Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, with a later 7pm finish on Tuesdays and a 5pm close on Fridays. Its guiding principle is to care for the whole person rather than simply their teeth, building a personalised plan for every patient.
